Introduction: - Begin the lesson by showing a world map and pointing out the continent of Europe. - Explain that Europe is a continent made up of many countries and diverse cultures. - Introduce the three SDGs that will be focused on in this lesson: sustainable cities and communities, responsible consumption and production, and good health and well-being. - Explain that these goals are important for the people living in Europe to have a better quality of life.

Sustainable Cities and Communities (15 minutes) - Show pictures of cities in Europe and discuss what makes a city sustainable. - Explain that sustainable cities have clean air, clean water, and green spaces for people to enjoy. - Discuss how people in sustainable cities use public transportation, recycle, and conserve energy.

Responsible Consumption and Production (15 minutes) - Show pictures of different products and discuss what responsible consumption means. - Explain that responsible consumption means buying things that are good for the environment and not wasting resources. - Discuss how people in Europe can reduce waste by recycling, reusing items, and buying products with less packaging.

Good Health and Well-being (15 minutes) - Show pictures of people engaging in different activities that promote good health and well-being. - Discuss the importance of eating healthy food, exercising, and getting enough sleep. - Explain that people in Europe have access to healthcare and education to help them stay healthy.
Questioning: - Throughout the lesson, ask open-ended questions to encourage critical thinking and class participation. - Examples of questions: - What do you think makes a city sustainable? - How can we reduce waste in our daily lives? - Why is it important to eat healthy food and exercise?
Assessment: - During the lesson, observe students’ participation and understanding of the concepts. - Use informal assessment techniques such as questioning, discussions, and observations. - Assess students’ ability to connect the concepts to their own lives and make connections to the SDGs.
