- Write the greetings on the whiteboard and explain their meanings.
- Self-Introduction (20 minutes):
- Teach the learner how to introduce themselves in Japanese.
- Provide a handout with useful phrases for self-introduction, including name, age, nationality, and hobbies.
- Model a self-introduction and have the learner practice introducing themselves.
- Encourage the learner to use the vocabulary and phrases they have learned so far.
- Wrap-up Activity (10 minutes):
- Ask the learner to create a short self-introduction in Japanese, incorporating the greetings and vocabulary learned.
- Provide feedback and correct any mistakes.
- Assign homework: Practice self-introduction in front of a mirror or record a video introducing themselves in Japanese.
