Introduction

Welcome students! Today we will be discussing different types of stylization techniques used in animation and visuals. We will be discussing Midjourney and Stable Diffusion techniques to explore the ways that filmmakers and animators use visuals to tell stories.

Lesson Outline

3. After discussing both the video definitions, hand out worksheets that ask the students to examine some visuals with respect to the principles of Midjourney and Stable Diffusion Stylization.

• What other methods could we use to apply stylization in animation or film? • How would you apply Stable Diffusion or Midjourney concepts to an animation or film? • Are there any advantages to using Midjourney or Stable Diffusion Stylization?

Assessment

As a way to assess student understanding of the concepts covered in the lesson, have them complete a worksheet that asks the students to create their own animation or storyboard using either Midjourney or Stable Diffusion Stylization concepts.

Differentiation

• For lower level learners, provide additional video or reading resources to reinforce the concepts of Midjourney and Stable Diffusion Stylization. • For higher level learners, provide additional questions or worksheets prompting an indepth analysis of the concepts.
