Lesson Plan: Using AI Tools for Studies

Objectives:

-Understand the AI tools available and how they can support academic studies -Identify and be able to use the most useful AI tools for studying -Assess how AI tools can be used to improve academic performance

Activities:

-Introductory video presentation on AI learning tools and their uses for school work (15 mins) -Group work to identify and research the most helpful AI tools for academic studies (30 mins) -Demonstration on how to use the AI tools for studying (30 mins) -Individual work to practice using the AI tools and how to incorporate them into a study program (45 mins)

Assessment Strategy: -Self-assessment questionnaire to review understanding and ability to use the AI tools (15 mins) -Group discussion to summarise what has been learned in the lesson and make future use suggestions (15 mins)

Timing: -1 hour and 45 minutes

Plenary: -Review the main points of the lesson and activities, emphasising the effectiveness of AI for academic studies -Answer any questions about the use of AI tools -Summarise how AI can help in the process of learning and why its a useful tool
