Procedure:
Motivational Problem (10 minutes): 1. Begin the lesson by presenting a motivational problem to the students. For example, “Imagine you are a Grade 11 student who wants to start a business. However, you lack motivation and are unsure about the principles, tools, and techniques involved in creating a successful business. How can you overcome these challenges and develop a viable business idea?”
Introduction (10 minutes): 2. Engage the students in a discussion about the importance of motivation in entrepreneurship. Ask questions such as: - Why is motivation important for entrepreneurs? - How can lack of motivation hinder the success of a business? - What are some strategies to stay motivated while starting a business?
Principles, Tools, and Techniques (15 minutes): 3. Introduce the students to the principles, tools, and techniques involved in creating a business. Use the whiteboard to list and explain each concept.
