Objective: By the end of the lesson, students will understand the importance of reading the Bible every day and will be able to read the entire Bible within a year.

Materials Needed: - Bible - Journal

Step 1: Ask the students what they know about the Bible. What do they think is the purpose of reading it?

Step 2: Explain the importance of reading the Bible every day for a year. Ask the students why they think it would be important to read it every day.

Step 3: Provide instructions on how to read the Bible every day. Explain that they will be reading one or two chapters of the Bible every day beginning with Genesis and ending with Revelation. Discuss how to understand the Bible and how to apply it in their lives.

Step 4: Demonstrate how to use a Bible study journal to keep track of their progress and help them to understand the Bible better. Allow students time to review the journaling methods and create their own.

Step 5: Set goals and reminder methods. Instruct students to set a goal on how many chapters they should aim to read in a day and set reminders to keep them on track and motivated to complete the task.

Step 6: Encourage students to talk about their daily reading and what they have learned to keep them motivated.

Step 7: Celebrate success and completion. Provide students resources and encouraging words to stay encouraged and to keep them engaged in reading and understanding the Bible.

Closure: Review all the materials discussed during the lesson. Remind students of the importance of daily Bible reading and the rewards for completing their goal of reading the entire Bible in a year.
