October Monthly Reflection:
October has been a whirlwind of a month, filled with countless teaching moments and valuable experiences. As I reflect on the past few weeks, I am pleased to say that I have finally gotten to grips with teaching in my new class. The initial challenges and uncertainties have gradually faded away, and I now feel more confident and comfortable in my role.
One aspect that has particularly stood out this month is the success of our circle time activities. The children have eagerly embraced this group interaction, and it has proven to be an effective way to engage them in various learning activities. The action songs and stories have been a hit, fostering a sense of togetherness and creating a positive classroom environment.
Another notable achievement has been the progress the children have made in recognizing and understanding their feelings. The introduction of the feeling chart has been instrumental in helping them identify and express their emotions. It is heartwarming to witness their growth in this area, as they become more self-aware and develop the skills to manage their emotions effectively.
Overall, October has been a fulfilling month of teaching. Despite the busyness, I am grateful for the positive outcomes and the connections I have established with my students. As I look ahead, I am excited to build upon the foundation we have laid and continue to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for my class.
