Once upon a time, in a small town, there was a little girl named Lily. Halloween was her favorite time of the year. She loved dressing up in spooky costumes and going trick-or-treating with her friends.
One Halloween night, Lily decided to be a witch. She wore a black hat, a long black dress, and carried a broomstick. Her friends dressed up as ghosts, vampires, and pumpkins. They all looked very scary!
As the sun set, they set off on their adventure. They walked from house to house, knocking on doors and shouting, “Trick or treat!” People opened their doors and gave them delicious candies. Lily’s bag was getting heavier and heavier with each house they visited.
Suddenly, they came across a mysterious old house at the end of the street. It looked spooky and abandoned. The windows were broken, and cobwebs covered the entrance. Lily’s friends were scared, but she was curious.
Lily bravely walked up to the front door and knocked. To her surprise, the door creaked open. She peered inside and saw a dimly lit hallway. Without thinking twice, she stepped inside, followed by her friends.
As they explored the house, they discovered it was filled with Halloween decorations. There were skeletons hanging from the ceiling, bats flying around, and pumpkins glowing with eerie lights. It was like a haunted house!
Suddenly, they heard a noise coming from upstairs. It sounded like footsteps. Lily’s heart raced, but she didn’t want to leave without finding out what was making the noise. She climbed the creaky stairs, her friends close behind.
At the top of the stairs, they found a room with a door slightly ajar. Lily pushed it open, and there, sitting on a chair, was an old man dressed as a wizard. He had a long white beard and a pointy hat.
The old man smiled and said, “Welcome, young witches and monsters! I’ve been waiting for you. I love Halloween, and I wanted to share my spooky house with you all.”
Lily and her friends were relieved. They spent the rest of the night with the old man, telling stories, eating candies, and laughing. It turned out that the old man was just a friendly neighbor who loved Halloween as much as they did.
As the night came to an end, Lily and her friends said goodbye to the old man and left the spooky house. They walked back home, their bags full of candies and their hearts full of joy.
From that day on, Lily and her friends always remembered the Halloween adventure they had in the mysterious old house. It became their favorite memory of Halloween, and they couldn’t wait for the next spooky adventure that awaited them.
