Once upon a time, when I was ten years old, I learned a very important lesson. It was a sunny day, and my friends and I decided to go on an adventure in the nearby forest.

As we walked deeper into the woods, we stumbled upon a beautiful butterfly. It had vibrant colors and delicate wings that fluttered gracefully. Mesmerized by its beauty, I decided to catch it.

I chased the butterfly, running and jumping, but it always seemed just out of reach. My friends cheered me on, urging me to catch it. I was determined to succeed.

After a while, I realized that I had wandered far away from my friends. I couldn’t hear their voices anymore, and I started to feel scared. I had lost my way in the vast forest.

Suddenly, I heard a rustling sound behind me. I turned around and saw a squirrel staring at me. It seemed to be saying, “Follow me!” I decided to trust the squirrel and followed it through the trees.

The squirrel led me back to my friends, who were worried about me. They scolded me for running off alone and reminded me of the importance of sticking together. I felt guilty for causing them to worry.

From that day on, I learned the lesson of the butterfly. Sometimes, we get so focused on one thing that we forget about everything else around us. It’s important to stay with our friends and not wander off alone.

Now, whenever I see a butterfly, I remember the day I got lost in the forest. I am grateful for the squirrel that guided me back to safety and for the lesson it taught me.
