Once upon a time, there was a kind-hearted girl named Cinderella. She lived with her stepmother and two stepsisters, who were not very nice to her. They made her do all the chores and treated her poorly.

One day, an invitation arrived at their house. It was for a grand ball at the palace, where the prince would choose his bride. Cinderella’s stepsisters were excited and started preparing for the ball. They tried on beautiful dresses and practiced their dance moves.

Cinderella wished she could go too, but her stepmother and stepsisters didn’t want her to. They thought she was not good enough to attend such a fancy event. Cinderella felt sad and went to her room, where she found a little mouse named Gus.

Gus saw how sad Cinderella was and wanted to help her. He called his friends, the other mice, and together they made a beautiful dress for Cinderella. They used scraps of fabric and ribbons they found around the house.

When Cinderella saw the dress, she couldn’t believe her eyes. It was the most beautiful dress she had ever seen. She quickly put it on and went to the ball.

At the palace, Cinderella danced gracefully and caught the prince’s attention. They danced all night, and Cinderella felt like she was in a dream. But as midnight approached, she remembered the warning from her fairy godmother.

Cinderella rushed out of the palace, leaving behind one of her glass slippers. The prince tried to follow her, but she disappeared into the night. All that was left was the glass slipper.

The prince was determined to find the girl who fit the glass slipper. He went from house to house, trying the slipper on every girl’s foot. When he arrived at Cinderella’s house, her stepsisters tried to squeeze their feet into the slipper, but it didn’t fit.

Finally, it was Cinderella’s turn. As she slipped her foot into the glass slipper, it fit perfectly. The prince was overjoyed and asked Cinderella to marry him. She said yes, and they lived happily ever after.

Cinderella’s kindness and courage had won her a prince and a life full of love and happiness. And she never forgot the little mouse, Gus, who had helped her when she needed it the most.
