Chapter Three: The Letters from No One
Once upon a time, in a small town called Little Whinging, there lived a boy named Harry Potter. He was just an ordinary boy, or so he thought. Harry lived with his mean aunt, uncle, and cousin, who treated him poorly.
One day, strange things started happening to Harry. Letters began arriving for him, but they were not ordinary letters. They were addressed to “Mr. H. Potter, The Cupboard under the Stairs.” Harry had never received a letter before, and he was curious to know who they were from.
However, his aunt and uncle were determined to keep the letters away from him. They hid them, burned them, and even moved to a shack on a small island to escape the letters. But the letters kept coming, no matter where they went.
Finally, on Harry’s eleventh birthday, a giant named Hagrid appeared. He told Harry that he was a wizard and that he had been accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry couldn’t believe it! He was a wizard!
Hagrid took Harry to Diagon Alley, a magical place where they bought all the things Harry needed for school. They visited Gringotts, the wizarding bank, and Harry got his very own wand from Ollivander’s Wand Shop.
As Harry prepared to leave for Hogwarts, he couldn’t help but feel excited and nervous. He had never been to a magical school before, and he didn’t know what to expect. But he was determined to make the most of this opportunity.
And so, Harry boarded the Hogwarts Express, a magical train that would take him to his new school. Little did he know that his life was about to change forever. The adventure was just beginning, and Harry was ready to embrace it with open arms.
