Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Lily. She was always afraid of the dark. Every night, when her parents turned off the lights, she would hide under her covers and shake with fear.

One day, Lily’s parents took her to a carnival. They went on all the rides and played all the games. But when they got to the haunted house, Lily was too scared to go in.

Her parents tried to convince her that it was just pretend, but Lily couldn’t shake her fear. She was convinced that there were real monsters inside.

Finally, her dad had an idea. He took Lily’s hand and said, “Let’s face your fear together.” They walked into the haunted house, with Lily clinging tightly to her dad’s hand.

As they walked through the dark corridors, Lily’s heart was pounding. But with her dad by her side, she felt a little bit braver.

Suddenly, a monster jumped out from behind a corner. Lily screamed, but her dad held her close and whispered, “It’s okay, it’s not real.”

Slowly but surely, Lily began to realize that the monsters were just people in costumes. She started to laugh and enjoy the spooky decorations.

When they emerged from the haunted house, Lily was beaming with pride. She had faced her fear and come out the other side.

From that day on, Lily wasn’t as afraid of the dark anymore. She knew that with a little bit of courage and the support of her loved ones, she could conquer anything.
