Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Lily. She had just moved to a new town and was feeling a bit lonely. She didn’t know anyone and missed her old friends.

One sunny day, Lily decided to go to the park. She hoped to find someone to play with. As she walked through the park, she saw a boy sitting alone on a bench. His name was Max.

Lily gathered up her courage and went over to Max. She smiled and said, “Hi, my name is Lily. Do you want to be friends?”

Max looked up and smiled back. “Sure, I would love to be friends!” he replied.

From that day on, Lily and Max became the best of friends. They played on the swings, climbed trees, and even had picnics together. They laughed and shared secrets, just like old friends do.

Lily was no longer lonely in her new town. She had found a wonderful friend in Max. They were always there for each other, through thick and thin.

And so, Lily and Max taught each other the true meaning of friendship. They showed that even in a new place, you can find friends who make your heart happy.
