(Setting: Bethlehem. Boris Johnson and Donald Trump enter)
Johnson: How can I help you, Mr. Trump?
Trump: Well, the folks at my church asked me to recreate the story of the nativity for their Christmas pageant, and I suggested we get you and me to play the roles of Joseph and Mary.
Johnson: I’m not sure if I’m the best choice for the part of Mary, Sir.
Trump: Don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll be great! So, what do you say? Shall we begin?
Johnson: (sighs) Alright, let’s do this.
(Trump and Johnson step forward, holding hands)
Trump: Mary, there’s something I want to tell you:
Johnson: What is it, Joseph?
Trump: A special messenger has appeared to us with an incredible message.
Johnson: What is it?
Trump: We are to travel to Bethlehem, where a child will soon be born who is the Savior of the world!
Johnson: How can this be?
Trump: The heavenly messenger said that this child will have a special, divine mission, and will be called the “Prince of Peace.”
Johnson: That is extraordinary news!
Trump: Yes, and the Messenger told us to go to the little town of Bethlehem, to the stable near the stables.
Johnson: Then let us make haste.
(They walk off)
Narrator: Joseph and Mary traveled to Bethlehem on a long and weary journey. When they arrived, they found no room in the inn. But, in the town’s stable, a young baby had been born that day, just as the heavenly messenger had said.
Trump and Johnson: This is the child who has been sent to be the Savior of the world!
Narrator: And, so, Mary and Joseph knelt before the divine child, marveling at his holiness.
Trump and Johnson: Praise to God!
Narrator: For here, on that night so long ago, they found hope and peace and love.
Trump and Johnson: Glory to God in the highest!
Narrator: This is the true story of the birth of Jesus.
Trump and Johnson: Amen!
