Monday: Learning Target: Students will be able to identify and describe characters in a story. Activity: Read a story to the class and have them identify the characters. Then, have them draw and label their own characters.

Tuesday: Learning Target: Students will be able to identify and describe the setting in a story. Activity: Read a story to the class and have them identify the setting. Then, have them draw and label their own setting.

Wednesday: Learning Target: Students will be able to identify and describe the problem/plot in a story. Activity: Read a story to the class and have them identify the problem/plot. Then, have them come up with their own problem/plot and draw a picture to go with it.

Thursday: Learning Target: Students will be able to identify and describe the solution in a story. Activity: Read a story to the class and have them identify the solution. Then, have them come up with their own solution and draw a picture to go with it.

Friday: Learning Target: Students will be able to write a complete story with characters, setting, problem/plot, and solution. Activity: Have students use their drawings and ideas from the week to write their own story. They can share their stories with the class at the end of the day.
