Project Description: In this project-based learning (PBL) unit, students will explore the impact of social media on individuals and society, while developing their French language skills. They will investigate various aspects of social media, such as its benefits, drawbacks, and ethical considerations. Students will work collaboratively to research, analyze, and present their findings in French, fostering critical thinking, communication, and digital literacy skills.
Project Objectives: 1. Develop an understanding of the role and influence of social media in today’s society. 2. Enhance French language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening. 3. Foster critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. 4. Promote digital literacy and responsible online behavior. 5. Encourage collaboration and teamwork.
Project Tasks:

Introduction to Social Media (1-2 days) - Engage students in a discussion about their experiences with social media. - Introduce key vocabulary related to social media platforms, features, and terminology. - Assign a short reading in French about the history and evolution of social media.
