Duration: 60 minutes
Objective: Students will work together in teams to improve their physical fitness and teamwork skills through two activities, a warm-up, and a cool-down.

Warm-up (10 minutes)
Activity: Relay Race
Instructions:
-
Divide the class into two teams.
-
Set up cones at the start and finish lines.
-
The first player from each team runs to the first cone, touches it, and runs back to tag the next player in line.
-
The relay continues until all players have completed the course.
-
The team that finishes first wins.
-
Repeat the relay race with different variations, such as hopping, skipping, or running backward.
Main Activity (40 minutes)
Activity: Capture the Flag
Instructions:
-
Divide the class into two teams.
-
Set up two “jails” on opposite sides of the playing area.
-
Each team has a flag that they must protect while trying to capture the other team’s flag.
-
Players can be tagged and sent to jail, but can be freed by a teammate who touches them.
-
The game ends when one team captures the other team’s flag and brings it back to their own jail.
-
The team with the most captures at the end of the game wins.
-
Encourage students to work together and communicate with their teammates to strategize and win the game.
Cool-down (10 minutes)
Activity: Stretching
Instructions:
-
Play calming music.
-
Lead students through a series of stretches, such as touching toes, reaching for the sky, and stretching arms and legs.
-
Hold each stretch for 10-15 seconds.
-
Encourage students to breathe deeply and relax their muscles.
Assessment:
Observe students’ participation and teamwork skills during the relay race and capture the flag game. Evaluate their stretching technique during the cool-down. Provide feedback and encouragement to help students improve their physical fitness and teamwork skills.
