    • Greet the pupils with a warm smile and introduce yourself.
    • Ask the pupils their names and make them feel comfortable.
    • Briefly explain that you will be doing some fun activities to warm up before starting the lesson.
  2. Simon Says (3 minutes):
    • Explain the rules of the game “Simon Says” to the pupils.
    • Demonstrate a few actions (e.g., touch your nose, clap your hands) and ask the pupils to do the same only if you say “Simon says” before the action.
    • Continue playing the game, gradually increasing the speed and complexity of the actions.
    • Praise the pupils for their participation and give small rewards or stickers to those who follow the instructions correctly.

    • Show the pupils flashcards or pictures of different animals.
    • Explain that you will be acting out the animals without making any sounds, and they have to guess the animal you are pretending to be.
    • Start by demonstrating an animal charade (e.g., pretending to be a cat by crawling and meowing).
    • Invite individual pupils to come forward and act out an animal charade while the rest of the class guesses.
    • Encourage the pupils to cheer and clap for their classmates’ efforts.
  4. Sing and Dance (3 minutes):
    • Play a lively and catchy song that the pupils are familiar with or teach them a simple song related to the lesson topic.
    • Encourage the pupils to stand up and dance along to the music.
    • Join in the dancing and singing to create a fun and inclusive atmosphere.
    • Use simple movements or gestures related to the song lyrics to engage the pupils further.
  5. Conclusion (1 minute):
    • Thank the pupils for their active participation and enthusiasm during the warm-up activities.
    • Briefly recap the activities they enjoyed and mention that the lesson will now begin.
    • Transition smoothly into the main lesson by introducing the topic or objectives.

Note: It is essential to adapt the activities and duration according to the age, attention span, and energy levels of the young pupils.
