Ingredients: - 1 cup all-purpose flour - 2 tablespoons granulated sugar - 1 teaspoon baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon salt - 1 cup milk - 1 large egg - 2 tablespoons melted butter - Cooking oil or butter for greasing the pan
Instructions: 1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well. 2. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the milk, egg, and melted butter. 3. Using a whisk or fork, gently stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined. It’s okay if there are a few lumps. 4. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. If using a regular pan, lightly grease it with cooking oil or butter. 5. Once the pan is hot, pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the pan for each pancake. You can make them smaller or larger depending on your preference. 6. Cook the pancakes until bubbles form on the surface, then flip them over using a spatula. Cook for another minute or until golden brown. 7. Remove the cooked pancakes from the pan and keep them warm. Repeat the process with the remaining batter. 8. Serve the pancakes warm with your favorite toppings such as maple syrup, fresh fruits, or whipped cream.
