I recently used the Alberta Grade 7 Curriculum to teach my students about the Expansion of the Fur Trade in Canada. I found the resource to be an effective way to teach an important part of Canadian history. The activities provided were engaging and kept my students interested, while also challenging them to think. The activity worksheets provided gave students ample opportunities to answer questions, draw diagrams, and even create their own trading posts. My students really benefited from the hands-on approach to learning the Expansion of the Fur Trade in Canada. I would certainly recommend this resource to any teacher looking for ways to make learning about Canadian history more vibrant and engaging for their students.
