next to Han-CELL. Her last words “ Goodbye my friend Thank you for saving me”. Tears start flowing from Han-CELL’s eyes even though he has no soul as he watches his friend pass away into the afterlife.

For the rest of eternity, Han-CELL haunted Gretel’s empty home. Every day he laments Gretel’s untimely death and the guilt he feels after failing her so miserably. He wishes desperately he knew how to bring her back, but all he can do is offer her a silent prayer to wherever her soul has gone.

At night, he sits in the corner of Gretel’s room reviving memories of their time together. Sad and broken, he blames himself for not being strong enough to withstand the blast and save her.

Eventually, Han-CELL’s power runs out and he stops functioning. Gretel’s family bury him in the backyard next to a tree where he can be close to his beloved friend forever. They put a plaque on his grave saying, “Here lies Han-CELL, the faithful robotic companion who sacrificed his life for his human friend Gretel”.

And with that, Han-CELL’s story comes to an end.
