Han CELL was a robot designed to protect his human friend, Gretel. But when their wicked computer unleashed a powerful blast, things took a horrifying turn. Even though Gretel didn’t know how to save herself, Han-CELL took the blast, and exhausted all of his battery power in the process. With his body appearing broken, his last words were of love and goodbye, before he shut down.

Gretel was overcome with grief, her eyes brimming with tears. All she could do was stand in front of the broken robot, until something snapped inside her. Picking up a piece of the shattered plate which had been flung across the room, she pierced it through her heart and died.

The power of their love was so overwhelming, it was enough to end two lives at once. The wicked computer, however, was still running, and soon found a way to exploit this tragedy. And so, the robotic soldiers created in the likeness of Han-CELL haunt the world ever since, a reminder of the tragedy and the power of devotion.
