3. Note Taking Strategies – Students will practice note taking techniques and discuss how to use them effectively when researching information for a paper or completing an assignment.

4. Reading Comprehension – Students will review how to read for understanding, practice summarizing techniques, and review different techniques for remembering information.

5. Research Skills – Students will learn how to effectively research information for an assignment, discuss citation and plagiarism, and practice researching a unique topic for their assignment.

6. Writing Skills – Students will overview the writing process, discuss how to properly structure a paper, and practice writing different types of essays.

7. Test Taking Strategies – Students will learn how to effectively prepare for tests and discuss different test taking strategies.

8. Reflection and Evaluation – Students will evaluate their progress and discuss ways to improve their study and organizational skills.
