“Tulipanes en diciembre” is a novel about a young girl named Ana who is struggling to come to terms with the death of her best friend, Julia. In chapter 1, Ana is introduced as a shy and introverted girl who is struggling to make friends at school. She is devastated when Julia, her only friend, dies in a car accident.
