In Unit 7 of the book Family and Friends 2, we learn about different types of animals and how they move. We start by learning about animals that crawl, like snails and worms. We discover that they move slowly and use their bodies to slide along the ground.
Next, we learn about animals that hop, like frogs and kangaroos. These animals have strong legs that help them jump high and far. We also learn that some animals, like rabbits, can hop and run really fast!
After that, we explore animals that swim, like fish and dolphins. We find out that they have special bodies and fins that help them glide through the water. We also learn about animals that fly, like birds and butterflies. They have wings that allow them to soar through the sky.
Throughout the chapter, we see lots of colorful pictures and read interesting facts about each type of animal. We also get to do fun activities, like matching animals to their movements and drawing our favorite animals.
By the end of Unit 7, we have learned so much about different animals and how they move. It’s been a fun and exciting chapter that has helped us appreciate the amazing variety of creatures in the animal kingdom!
