Running through the deserted streets, my heart pounded in my chest like a jackhammer. The sound of my feet hitting the pavement was like thunder in my ears. But the sound that chilled me to the bone was the steady rhythm of my attacker’s footsteps, getting closer and closer.
I turned a corner and found myself in an abandoned alleyway. The walls were covered in graffiti, and the air was thick with the stench of decay. I could feel my attacker’s breath on the back of my neck, and I knew I had to keep moving.
But then I reached a dead end. My heart sank as I turned around to face my attacker. He was a tall, lean man with a wrinkled face and cold, dead eyes. He grabbed me by the collar and threw me to the ground.
The pain was excruciating. It felt like my bones were being crushed under the weight of his fists. Every blow was like a gunshot, echoing through the alleyway. I screamed, but no one came to my rescue.
As I lay there, helpless and in agony, my attacker took his time. He seemed to relish in my pain, savoring every moment. His laughter was like nails on a chalkboard, grating against my ears.
I tried to fight back, but it was no use. He was too strong, too ruthless. I was nothing but a plaything to him, a toy to be broken and discarded.
In that moment, I realized that I was going to die. The pain was too much to bear, and I knew that I couldn’t hold on much longer. But even as I felt my life slipping away, I refused to give up.
I fought with every ounce of strength I had left, clawing and scratching at my attacker’s face. And then, in a moment of pure desperation, I managed to grab a broken bottle from the ground.
With a primal scream, I plunged the jagged glass into my attacker’s chest. He stumbled back, clutching at the wound, and I scrambled to my feet.
I ran as fast as I could, my heart pounding in my chest. The sound of my attacker’s footsteps faded away, and I knew that I had escaped.
But the memory of that night would haunt me forever. The pain, the fear, the desperation. It was a nightmare that I could never wake up from.
