Lesson Plan 1: Title: Introduction to the History of Scottish Music Objectives: • Describe the cultural history of Scotland and its effects on music • Demonstrate an understanding of key Scottish musical traditions (folk, Highland, Bluegrass, etc.)

Materials Needed: • PowerPoint presentation/documentary • Internet access • Printed materials

Procedure: 1. Begin by introducing the history of Scotland and its cultural impact on music. 2.
