Unit Title: Promoting Emotional Well-being and Ethical Decision Making
Unit Overview: This unit aims to develop students’ understanding of harm reduction, risk management, emotional expression, and ethical decision making. Students will explore strategies to promote harm reduction and risk management, analyze reasons behind individuals’ choices to suppress or manipulate their feelings, and learn to model integrity and honesty in accordance with ethical principles. Through various activities and discussions, students will develop skills to make informed decisions, manage emotions effectively, and behave ethically in different situations.
Unit Duration: 4-6 weeks
Learning Outcomes: By the end of this unit, students will be able to: 9.8 Develop strategies to promote harm reduction/risk management; e.g., differentiate between choosing personal challenges or acting impulsively, encourage others to evaluate risks.
