Assignment Description: In this assignment, you will be required to demonstrate your ability to effectively communicate in various formats commonly encountered by post school students. You will be assessed on your written communication skills, oral presentation skills, and research proposal writing skills.

1. Written Communication Skills (40%): a. Coherent Paragraphs (10%):
   • Demonstrates the ability to write clear and concise paragraphs.
   • Uses appropriate transition words to ensure smooth flow between paragraphs.
   • Provides relevant supporting details and examples.

   b. Essay Planning and Structure (10%): - Demonstrates the ability to plan and organize an essay effectively. - Develops a clear thesis statement and outlines main points. - Uses appropriate headings and subheadings to structure the essay.

   c. Introduction and Conclusion (10%): - Writes an engaging and informative introduction that captures the reader’s attention. - Provides a clear and concise summary of the main points in the conclusion. - Demonstrates the ability to effectively wrap up the essay.

   d. Logical Argument Development (10%): - Develops a logical and coherent argument throughout the essay. - Provides evidence and examples to support claims. - Anticipates and addresses counterarguments.
