Good evening, my name is [insert name], I’m 16 years old and I’m passionate about social justice. After watching the video and reading the article, I firmly believe that young people have the capacity and power to make a positive change in this world.

We all know of the long history of youth involvement in the worldwide social justice struggle from ancient times to present day. Whether it’s women in the struggle for their rights or Global Climate Strikes, young people have been on the forefront of pushing for change.

In my opinion, this movement needs more young people involved and engaged. We have an opportunity to use our voices and our agency to truly make a difference, to raise awareness and to make sure that our hard work and our efforts do not go to waste. We can be involved in protests and marches, in online campaigns and petitions, or in any other way that we feel confident in that will be useful in pushing forward the cause of justice.

We have the potential to start meaningful conversations, to spark change in our society and to be a part of something that is bigger than all of us. We have the power to influence the people around us and shape the world into a more equitable place.

I cannot overemphasize the importance of youth involvement in the global social justice movement. Our future is in our hands and it is our responsibility to take action in order to make it better for generations to come. Thank you for your time.
