After watching the video and reading the article, I strongly believe that youth can play a huge role in the worldwide social justice movement. Young people are powerful agents of change. We have strength in numbers, a desire to learn, strong communication skills, and the ability to think outside of the box. We also possess a passion for causes that we believe in, which can be a great asset to any movement. Through organizing, educational pursuits, and uniting with our peers, we can help make a positive change in our world. Additionally, our presence in the media can bring attention to topics that were previously overlooked. The main takeaway that I got from the video and article is that we should take initiative and make the decision to fight for the causes that we believe to be unjust. As long as we are passionate about the cause and make sure our voices are heard, we can be a powerful force for change.
