Objectives:

Procedure:

  2. Slideshow or Images of Hawaiian Geography and Culture: Show slideshows or images of Hawaiian geography and culture (5 minutes).

  3. Hawaiian Language: Introduce students to basic Hawaiian language and pronunciation (10 minutes).

  4. Working with Text: Show students examples of basic Hawaiian language, including vocabulary and simple phrases (10 minutes).

  5. Practice: Give students an opportunity to practice speaking and writing Hawaiian language, using the text and examples provided (15 minutes).

  6. Oral Activity: Divide students into small groups and have them practice speaking, hearing, and understanding Hawaiian language (10 minutes).

  7. Summary/Conclusion: Have students summarise what they have learnt about Hawaiian language and culture (5 minutes).
