Materials: Pen and paper, textbooks, laptop or tablet, Internet access (optional)

Time Allocation: 90 minutes

Warm-up Activity: In pairs, have students brainstorm and discuss a recent example of a company who has successfully implemented some sort of cultural transformation. From there, have them discuss the impact that transformation has had on the company’s business performance and success.

The Lesson (60 minutes):

  1. Introduction (10 minutes)
    • Begin by introducing the concept of Cultural Transformation and highlighting its importance in today’s business environment.
    • Next, explain the concept of Business Agility and how it is related to Cultural Transformation.
  2. Discussion (15 minutes)
    • Facilitate an open discussion about the importance of Cultural Transformation and Business Agility. Have students discuss some of their thoughts, feelings and experiences about the topics.
  3. Brainstorm (15 minutes):
    • Ask students to form pairs and come up with three reasons why a company would want to instill greater business agility into its culture.
  4. Activity (15 minutes):
    • Have the class split into two groups and give each group the task of coming up with five key steps that a business can take to successfully implement a business agility culture.
  5. Wrap up (5 minutes):
    • Bring the class back together and have them present some of their ideas to the class.
    • Offer additional resources for further exploration and research, such as books, blogs, channels or websites.

Closure: - Encourage students to further explore the concept of Cultural Transformation and business Agility.
