Materials: - Classroom observation tool worksheet - Drafting tools (ruler, protractor, compass) - Drafting paper - Pencils

Procedure:

  1. Introduction (10 minutes) - Begin the lesson by asking students if they have ever seen a blueprint or a technical drawing. Ask them what they noticed about the drawing. - Explain that in drafting, signs, symbols, and data are used to communicate important information about the design.
