The class guesses which statement is the lie. - Writing activity: “My Summer Vacation” - Students write a short paragraph or create a poster about their summer vacation, highlighting their favorite memory.
Day 2: Topic: Classroom Expectations - Discussion: Review classroom rules and expectations. Allow students to share their thoughts and suggestions for creating a positive learning environment. - Group activity: Create a classroom expectations poster. Divide students into groups and have them brainstorm and design a poster that represents the class rules and expectations.
Day 3: Topic: Reading Comprehension - Read-aloud: Choose a grade-appropriate book and read a chapter aloud to the class. - Comprehension activity: Students complete a graphic organizer or worksheet to identify the main characters, setting, and key events from the chapter.
