Round 1: Group A presents their arguments, followed by Group B presenting counter-arguments. b. Round 2: Group B presents their arguments, followed by Group A presenting counter-arguments. c. Round 3: Each group has a chance to rebut the counter-arguments presented by the opposing group. 6. Encourage students to use appropriate vocabulary, expressions, and connectives to express their opinions and support their arguments. 7. Monitor the debate and provide feedback on language use, clarity of arguments, and overall participation.

Group A (For): Argument 1: Technology has improved communication and connectivity, allowing people to stay connected with loved ones and access information easily. Argument 2: Technological advancements have led to increased efficiency and productivity in various industries, resulting in economic growth and job creation. Argument 3: Technology has revolutionized healthcare, enabling better diagnosis, treatment, and access to medical information.
Group B (Against): Counter-argument 1: Technology has led to increased screen time and sedentary lifestyles, contributing to health issues such as obesity and mental health problems. Counter-argument 2: Technological advancements have resulted in job displacement and increased income inequality, as automation replaces human labor. Counter-argument 3: Technology has also raised concerns about privacy and security, with the risk of data breaches and surveillance.
Rebuttal: Group A can respond to the counter-arguments presented by Group B, highlighting the positive aspects of technology and addressing any concerns raised.
