Chapter 2 of Fantastic Mr Fox introduces us to the three meanest farmers in the world - Boggis, Bunce, and Bean. They are very greedy and want to catch Mr Fox and his family because they have been stealing their chickens, ducks, and turkeys. Mr Fox is very clever and knows how to outsmart the farmers, but he needs to be careful because they are always watching him. Mr Fox and his family live in a secret underground home, and they have to be very quiet and careful not to be seen by the farmers. Mr Fox’s wife is worried about their safety, but Mr Fox is confident that he can outsmart the farmers and keep his family safe. The chapter ends with Mr Fox coming up with a plan to steal food from the farmers without getting caught.
