Course Description: This course is designed for advanced students who are interested in learning about the principles and practices of film production management and art direction. The course will cover topics such as pre-production planning, budgeting, scheduling, location scouting, set design, and post-production. Students will also learn about the role of the production manager and art director in the filmmaking process.
Course Objectives: 1. To understand the principles and practices of film production management and art direction. 2. To learn about the different stages of the filmmaking process, from pre-production to post-production. 3. To develop skills in budgeting, scheduling, location scouting, and set design. 4. To understand the role of the production manager and art director in the filmmaking process. 5. To gain practical experience in film production management and art direction.
