Objective: The objective of the game is to help players learn and practice the pronunciation of the /i:/ sound in a fun and engaging way.

Materials: 1. Game board with a path divided into squares 2. Game cards with words containing the /i:/ sound 3. Game tokens (e.g., small figurines or coins) 4. Timer 5. Dice

Instructions: 1. Set up the game board in the center of the playing area and place the game cards face down next to it. 2. Each player chooses a game token and places it at the starting point on the game board. 3. The youngest player goes first and rolls the dice. 4. The player moves their token forward the number of squares indicated by the dice roll. 5. The player then picks up a game card and reads the word aloud, emphasizing the /i:/ sound. 6. The other players listen carefully and provide feedback on the pronunciation. 7. If the player pronounces the word correctly, they stay on the current square. If not, they move back one square. 8. The next player takes their turn, following steps 3-7. 9. The game continues until one player reaches the finish line. 10. The player who reaches the finish line first is declared the winner.

Variations: 1. Time Challenge: Set a timer for each player’s turn. Players must read the word on the game card correctly within the given time limit. If they fail to do so, they move back one square. 2. Memory Challenge: Instead of reading the word aloud, players can choose to memorize the word on the game card and then recite it correctly when they land on a square with another player’s token. If they pronounce it correctly, they swap places with the other player. If not, they stay on their current square. 3. Team Challenge: Divide players into teams. Each team takes turns rolling the dice and moving their token. When a player lands on a square, their team members must collectively pronounce the word on the game card correctly. If they succeed, the team stays on the current square. If not, they move back one square.
