Enrichment Plan: English Vocabulary and Tenses
Objective: To improve English vocabulary and understanding of tenses.

Vocabulary Building Activities: a. Word of the Day: Start each day by introducing a new word to learn. Provide its definition, synonyms, antonyms, and usage in a sentence. Encourage students to use the word in their conversations throughout the day. b. Vocabulary Games: Play interactive vocabulary games such as crossword puzzles, word searches, or online vocabulary quizzes. This will make learning new words fun and engaging. c. Reading Challenge: Assign reading materials that are slightly above the students’ current reading level. Encourage them to highlight and write down unfamiliar words. Discuss the meanings of these words in class.

Tenses Practice: a. Verb Tense Chart: Create a verb tense chart that includes all the tenses (simple present, simple past, present continuous, past continuous, etc.). Review the chart regularly and provide examples of sentences in each tense. b. Sentence Transformation: Provide students with sentences in one tense and ask them to transform them into other tenses. This will help them practice using different tenses correctly. c. Story Writing: Assign students to write short stories using different tenses. This will allow them to practice using tenses in context and develop their storytelling skills.
