Introduction (10 minutes):

  1. Gather the children in a circle and introduce the topic of equality.
  2. Ask the children if they know what equality means and encourage them to share their thoughts.
  3. Explain that equality means treating everyone fairly and with respect, regardless of their differences.

Main Activity (30 minutes):

  1. Read a picture book on diversity and equality, such as “All Are Welcome” by Alexandra Penfold.
  2. After reading the book, ask the children to share what they learned about equality and diversity.
  3. Introduce a variety of toys and props representing different cultures and abilities.
  4. Encourage the children to explore and play with the toys, while discussing the differences they notice.

  7. Ask the children to draw or write something they appreciate about themselves or someone else on the paper.

Conclusion (10 minutes):

  2. Ask the children to share what they wrote or drew on the group paper.
  3. Emphasize the importance of treating everyone with respect and kindness, regardless of their differences.
  4. End the lesson with a group chant or song celebrating equality and diversity.
