  1. Make banners or posters to promote Fairtrade, including information about what Fairtrade is and how it benefits farmers and producers in developing countries.

  2. Create a role-play game, where the students can pretend to be the farmers, customers and shopkeepers in a Fairtrade transaction.

  3. Take part in a fundraising event or competition to raise money for a Fairtrade-linked charity or project.

  4. Research a Fairtrade product, learn how it is produced and take a trip - if possible - to a store that sells it.

  5. Hold a bake sale and only serve goods that are made with Fairtrade ingredients.

  6. Take part in a global citizenship day or Fairtrade fortnight project, discussing how Fairtrade links global challenges with local action.

  7. Brainstorm ideas for things that primary school teenagers can do to help promote Fairtrade.

  8. Take part in ‘Fairtrade Breakfast’ events, to learn more about the importance of Fairtrade.
