Bug Investigation: Provide each student with a magnifying glass and observe bugs up close. Ask the students to search their area for different types of bugs and draw the different bugs they find.

Nature Scavenger Hunt: Create a list of items commonly found in nature (pine cones, rocks, leaves, etc.) and have each student go around and find the various items.

Nature Art: Provide the students with clay, sticks, and other natural items that they can use to create a piece of art. Have them explore the outdoors and find materials to create a piece of art.
