  4. Fuel: any material that can be burned or otherwise used to produce energy; a substance that provides energy for power or heat. Example: The car needs fuel to run, so we stopped at the gas station to fill up.

  5. Cold: a low temperature; lacking warmth or heat. Example: She shivered in the cold wind as she walked home from school.
