Title: Investigating the Growth and Changes in Plants

Introduction: Plants are living organisms that undergo various growth and changes throughout their life cycle. In this experiment, we will explore the factors that affect the growth and changes in plants. By conducting this experiment, we aim to understand the importance of sunlight, water, and soil in the growth process of plants.

Materials: 1. Four identical plant pots 2. Potting soil 3. Four identical seeds (e.g., bean seeds) 4. Water 5. Sunlight 6. Measuring cup 7. Ruler 8. Notebook and pen

Procedure: 1. Prepare the plant pots by filling them with potting soil. 2. Label the pots as follows: Pot A (Control), Pot B (No Sunlight), Pot C (No Water), and Pot D (No Soil). 3. Plant one seed in each pot according to the instructions on the seed packet. 4. Water Pot A with the recommended amount of water mentioned on the seed packet. 5. Place Pot A in an area with ample sunlight. 6. Water Pot B with the recommended amount of water mentioned on the seed packet. 7. Place Pot B in a dark area where it won’t receive any sunlight. 8. Water Pot C with the recommended amount of water mentioned on the seed packet. 9. Place Pot C in an area with ample sunlight. 10. Do not water Pot D. 11. Place Pot D in an area with ample sunlight. 12. Observe and record the growth of each plant daily for a period of two weeks. 13. Measure the height of each plant using a ruler and record the measurements in your notebook. 14. Take note of any changes in the color, texture, and overall appearance of the plants. 15. Compare the growth and changes in each plant to determine the effects of sunlight, water, and soil on plant growth.

Results and Analysis: 1. Compare the growth of each plant in terms of height, color, texture, and overall appearance. 2. Record any noticeable differences or similarities between the plants. 3. Analyze the data to determine the impact of sunlight, water, and soil on plant growth. 4. Draw conclusions based on your observations and data.

Conclusion: Through this experiment, we have learned that sunlight, water, and soil are essential factors for the growth and changes in plants. The plant in Pot A, which received adequate sunlight, water, and soil, exhibited the healthiest growth. The plant in Pot B, which lacked sunlight, showed stunted growth and pale coloration. The plant in Pot C, which lacked water, displayed wilting and slowed growth. The plant in Pot D, which lacked soil, did not grow at all. These findings highlight the importance of providing plants with the necessary resources for their growth and development.
