To create an interactive drag and drop game using Google Slides that will retain answers given, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open Google Slides and create a new presentation.
  2. Create the game board by adding shapes, images, or text boxes to represent the draggable items and drop targets.
  3. Add instructions or prompts to guide the players.
  4. Create draggable items by adding shapes, images, or text boxes that players can drag and drop onto the game board.
  5. To make an item draggable, select it and go to the “Format” menu, then choose “Order” and “Bring to front” to ensure it’s on top of other objects.
  6. To make an item draggable, right-click on it, select “Link” and choose “Slides in this presentation.” Then, select the slide where you want the item to be dropped.
  7. Create drop targets by adding shapes, images, or text boxes where players can drop the draggable items.
  8. To make a drop target, select it and go to the “Format” menu, then choose “Order” and “Send to back” to ensure it’s behind other objects.
  9. To make a drop target interactive, right-click on it, select “Link” and choose “Slides in this presentation.” Then, select the slide where you want to go after the item is dropped.
  10. Repeat steps 6-9 for each draggable item and drop target you want to include in your game.
  11. Test your game by entering the presentation mode and dragging the items onto the drop targets.
  12. To retain the answers given, you can use the “Speaker Notes” feature in Google Slides. Add speaker notes to each slide with the correct answers or any additional information you want to display after the item is dropped.
  13. When presenting the game, you can refer to the speaker notes to provide feedback or reveal the correct answers.

Remember to save your presentation regularly to ensure you don’t lose any progress.
