Objective: To introduce the gift of wisdom and discuss how students can learn and develop this quality.

Materials: -Overhead projector -Printouts of Bible verses related to wisdom (Proverbs 1:7, James 1:5, Proverbs 3:13-18) -Chart paper and markers

Time Activity 5 minutes Icebreaker: Have students share anecdotes where they demonstrated wisdom in the past.

20 minutes Introduce the idea of wisdom - Ask students what wisdom means to them, and use examples to explain that wisdom is an all-encompassing quality. Explain that wisdom is obtained through experience, trust, and understanding. Discuss how wisdom can be seen in various everyday activities and decisions.

15 minutes Reflection Activity: Have students read the Bible verses related to wisdom and reflect on the meaning and implications of each one. Use the chart paper and markers to create a discussion about what this means for us in our daily lives.

20 minutes Application: Have students go through a series of exercises to think through the consequences of their choices and discuss why a choice may be wise or foolish. Ask students to share and discuss their thoughts, and work as a class to come up with ideas on how to incorporate wisdom in their decisions in the future.

Ending Have students discuss how they plan to practice wisdom in their everyday lives. Encourage students to talk to each other about how they can cooperate and practice the gift of wisdom.
