Take notes during the lecture or while reading in the “notes” section. 3. Write questions or keywords in the “cues” section. 4. Summarize the main ideas in the “summary” section. B. Demonstrate the Cornell Note-Taking Method on the board or using handouts. C. Discuss other note-taking strategies: 1. Outlining: Organize information hierarchically using bullet points or numbers. 2. Mind mapping: Create visual diagrams to connect and organize ideas. 3. Abbreviations and symbols: Develop a personal shorthand system to save time.
