Foreign tourists typically prefer to visit the country during the cool winter season and avoid visiting during the hot summer season. 3. Price is one of the most important predictors of travel for foreign tourists, and the Indian rupee has depreciated significantly in relation to the U.S. dollar since 2012. 4. The Indian government is considering launching additional facilities for Western tourists, such as visa-on-arrival and e-visa programs, which could exacerbate the problem of poor customer service due to a lack of accurate forecasting and proper planning.
