Lesson

3. Divide the class into two groups and give each group a stack of picture cards, rulers and paper (2 minutes).

4. Explain to students that each team needs to work together to create a poster comparing and contrasting Ancient Egypt and the Roman Empire. The poster needs to include five differences between the two civilizations (10 minutes).

5. Conclude the lesson by asking each group to present their poster to the class (10 minutes).
